The COOLMAX® trademark is a valuable asset, which is why The LYCRA Company protects and defends the brand around the world. Often, trademark infringement is unintentional and can be remedied quickly, but when it’s determined to be intentional, we will take legal action to protect our trademarks. If you see a product that you think may be counterfeit, please report it to your account representative.
COOLMAX® is a globally registered trademark of The LYCRA Company and is a valuable asset that will be vigorously defended against unauthorized and improper usage that could result in damage to the goodwill associated with our brand.

Proper trademark usage
1. Always be distinctive
CAPITALIZE the trademark and add the proper registration symbol. Please click the button on the left to refer to our Trademark List, or contact us.
2. Use the correct generic
Our trademarks must always be followed by the appropriate generic name of either “brand” or “technology”
3. Use the trademark as an adjective
Trademarks are not nouns, verbs or adverbs and should never be used in the possessive or plural form.
4. Do not change the trademark
Only use the trademark in the exact form in which it is registered. Never hyphenate, abbreviate, or split trademarks over two lines.
5. Always print our legal line
Include our trademark notice in at least one place on your website or print collateral where our trademarks are used (e.g. COOLMAX® is a trademark of The LYCRA Company)
